COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Understanding real estate law is part of every real estate licensee's business. Today, more than ever, it's important to know the laws governing the practice of real estate. This material will provide a "red flag notice" of when participants are potentially going into a danger zone-the unlicensed practice of law.
OBJECTIVES:
Identify and avoid the unlicensed practice of law
Describe knowledge of many laws, including those on property, environment, disclosures, and more.
Demonstrate knowledge of the role of agents, brokers, landlords, sales associates, and more.
Explain various FREC rules
Describe and understand various forms and agreements

Manuela Henderickson
Manuela has been an active, full time Realtor since 1994. She spent 18 years at Realty Executives where she also served two years as the Regional Franchise Coordinator and Business Building Manager.
In 2002 Manuela received her Broker license and her Instructor permit from DBPR. She has been teaching Pre and Post Licensing FREC approved courses for Bob Hogue School of Real Estate for 17 years before she partnered in opening up her own real estate school. Manuela also teaches Code of Ethics Course, various contract courses and moderates expert panel discussions for the Pinellas Realtor Organization.
She is passionate about the Real Estate profession and is the Broker/Owner of Global Lifestyle LLC, a boutique real estate office in St. Petersburg, Florida. She served on the Board of Directors of the Pinellas Realtor Organization as their 2022 President and is very involved in Professional Standards and the Global Council.
Manuela takes great pleasure in having the ability to contribute to the real estate profession and feels that sharing her knowledge while educating fellow Realtors allows her to assist in raising the bar in her chosen career.
